XTC SQUAMISH

GENERAL RACE INFORMATION
We are heading to the "Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada", Squamish, BC. Squamish is probably one of the most amazing places to ride in BC (and in Canada). There is currently an event happening on the same weekend we use to host XTC Vancouver so we will be changing the race weekend by one week. We have secured Alice Lake for Saturday, June 26, 2010). Fees	Full Individual Triathlon & Duathlon - $80.00 Half Individual Triathlon & Duathlon - $59.00 Full Team Triathlon (2 people) - $129.00 Full Team Triathlon (3 people) - $144.00 Half Team Triathlon (2 people) - $86.00 Half Team Triathlon (3 people) - $114.00 NOTE!!! Rate increase for 2010. Due to increased cost in hosting the XTC event, we had to raise our costs. We are holding out 2009 rates over for one day, April 16th. If you register on this day you will receive last year's rate. $10 individual / $15 team price increase May 24th for XTC Squamish and $10 individual / $15 team price increase for registration on June 26th, and participants signing up late may not receive complete race packages and/or commemorative souvenirs (this means you may not get the 2010 stainless steel water bottle). Triathlon BC charges a one fee for race day insurance if you do not hold a current Triathlon BC or Alberta Triathlon Association Membership. Here are there costs: $15 per non-Triathlon BC member Adults $5 per non-Triathlon BC member Juniors (ages 16-19 years) $6 per non-Triathlon BC member of Relay teams

PRINT WAIVER, sign it and bring it to package pickup. EVERYONE MUST SIGN THE WAIVER ALSO, dowload the RACE INFORMATION PACKAGE. IMPORTANT ... MUST READ!!
Prizes	XTC Prizes are different at each venue. Please note, prizes are dependent on community/local sponsorship for each venue. Each venue will have a lot of great draw prizes to allow everyone who participates in the race the opportunity to win something. The following is the prize breakdown for the XTC Squamish Race: Please note "Age Group" breakdown for awards are: Adult Full Distance Triathlon: 1st place male & female overall 2nd place male & female overall 3rd place male & female overall Age group - prize to top male & female in each age group. Prizing to top 3 male & female in each age group where there are ten or more people in the age group for male and female. Please note "Age Group" breakdown for prizes is, Elite, Junior Elite, AWAD, 18-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ We will post results, however, based on five years increments. Accomodations	We are not associated with a specific hotel in Squamish at this time. There is a Provincial Campground at Alice Lake.
